“I was getting too old, too fast,” says the proud husband, father, and grandfather. “So I decided to do something about it.”
Bill is quick to credit his wife for keeping him on a healthy diet, including plenty of vegetables and virtually no red meat. He also works out three to four days a week with some weightlifting and running. His marathon-running daughter even motivated him to do a couple 5k races and participate in a triathlon.
But it’s clear his health transformation was never about competitions. “I just wanted to be able to play with my grandkids,” he admits.
