“Riding bikes is a great way for families to do something healthy and fun together,” says Raymond D. Wells, Medical Director. “It doesn’t have to cost a lot, and most folks can do it right in their own neighborhood. Even if you live in a rural area where biking isn’t easy, you can find a nearby park or trail. And it’s worth the effort. Studies show that biking just a few hours a week can dramatically reduce your chance of stroke and heart disease.”
